How Do I Make A Reservation For A Retreat?

All Vivus Juice Wellness Retreats cater to a small number of guests (usually 6-10) so that we can provide each person with individualized attention. You can find out about all of upcoming retreats here. Our reservation process starts with submitting a Reservation Information Request Form. We ask that you will out the form with your contact information as well as the retreat that you are interested in attending. We will follow-up with you via email and are happy to speak with you in person about the details of your desired retreat. Our goal is to make your experience with us enjoyable and memorable. Once we speak with you and you determine that you want to attend one of our Vivus Juice Wellness Retreats, we will make arrangements for a 50% down payment to hold your spot. The balance is due 30 days prior to the first day of the retreat. You can find information about our refund policy here.

What Is Included In The Fee For The Retreat?

Beautiful accommodations, fresh juices (made on site), soups and teas.  Yoga and tapping are offered twice a day for optimal health. We also hold discussions on clean eating, the benefits of juice fasting and autophagy, an alkaline vs. acidic diet, nutrition and wellness, healthy skincare, dry brushing and lymph movement.   If available, massage and esthetician services will be scheduled prior to the retreat to accommodate therapist appointment schedules. Other services may include Meditation, Breath Work, Reiki, Sound Therapy, and Cold Therapy depending on availability and accommodations.

How Do I Prepare For My Retreat?

It’s best to start eliminating certain foods from your diet before you cleanse to make your juice fast a better experience. These foods include: anything processed, caffeine, alcohol, dairy, soda, wheat and meat. It’s also important to remind yourself and reflect on why you are doing the cleanse. Write a motivational saying or a personal reminder and bring it with you as inspiration during your retreat.  

What Will I Be Drinking During The Juice Retreat?

Juice fasting at Vivus Retreats consists of drinking 2 to 5 cups of fresh juice a day and a soup in the evening. Ingredients generally include fresh carrots, apples, spinach, grapes, berries, watermelon, cucumbers, lemons and ginger.  Soups include mushroom, tomato, basil, and butternut squash.  No fats or added proteins are used for fasting since they are hard on the digestive system. When not drinking juices or soups, retreat guests will be drinking teas and clean alkaline water.  If you do not like a certain fresh juice or soup, we will strive to accommodate your preferences.

Over 20 years ago I benefited greatly from attending my first retreat in San Diego, CA. I was amazed at the way I could actually feel after just 3 days of flooding my body with nutrients. I went home and changed everything about my nutrition, including the way I fed my two children. They have since grown up to be very health-conscience as well and notice when they slip up with nutrition (as we all do). I know how difficult it is to fast at home with all of the outside influences of eating out and socializing. Going to a retreat is a way to pull in the reins and get yourself back on track. It absolutely helps to be amongst like-minded people who have the same goals as you do. I love teaching people who are new to the concept of juicing about nutrition and enjoy speaking with those who are experienced nutritionists–we can all learn from each other. I’ve attended many retreats from Juice Fasting to Yoga to Women’s Retreats. I love coming home from a retreat feeling energized.
